It is difficult to determine if the Ashley piercing is swollen without a visual inspection. Swelling is a common side effect of getting a piercing and can last for a few days to a week. If the piercing was recently done, some swelling is normal. However, if the swelling is excessive, painful, or accompanied by other symptoms like redness or discharge, it may be a sign of infection and should be checked by a professional piercer or healthcare provider. **

It is a unique and visually striking piercing that can be a bold statement. The piercing is named after the first person known to have it done, Ashley, who was a member of the band Ash. It is a popular choice for those looking for a more unconventional lip piercing option. **

These donations are used to support the church's operations, fund various ministries and programs, and contribute to charitable causes. The money collected in the collection plate is often used to pay for the church's expenses, such as staff salaries, building maintenance, and outreach efforts. Some churches may also use the funds to support community initiatives and help those in need. **
